hitting the web
The April showers have finally arrived, which although frustrating in that I can’t get outside for any practical period of time; are welcomed for a number of reasons.
On the garden front, with my first sowing of an assorted set seeds fully germinated and my potatoes starting to poke some sprouts through the surface, the rain will definitely be well received ‘on the factory floor’: the temperature looks like it’s going to fall, but not close to the point of there being frost, and hopefully the ground will retain some of heat it has absorbed from the last couple of weeks worth of sunshine.
On the web front, the change in weather has given me time to finally get this blog up and running. I’ve been thinking about launching the site for a month or two now: if for no other reason to provide a bit of history that I can look back on. Hopefully, over time, there should be a few titbits of information on here that others may find useful: I’m planning to spend the next week or so back-dating a few posts to fill in a few of the gaps.
